Pio Pio #1 opened in 1994 on a quiet stretch of Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego park, not far from the Queens Center Mall.  Though we have since grown to eight locations around the city — many of which offer a selection of foods that goes well beyond chicken and sides — we’re glad to have kept #1 the same as it’s always been, sticking wtih the basics and embracing our humble beginning.  Marinated rotisserie chicken, vegetarian rice & beans, maduros and tostones plantains, avocado salad, and (of course) the addictive homemade ají sauce we serve gratis with all food orders.
